Meet our Staff Members
Ann E. O'Neil (RN, MSN, CS), is President of the company, and an active member of the Care Management Staff. She founded Ann E. O’Neil, Inc. in 1988. Ann has been recognized as a leader in Geriatric Care Management and is the recipient of several awards for her work in the field such as: Virginia Nurses Association - VA. Pioneer Award, ABC Channel 7-Working Woman Award, U.S. Public Health Award for Graduate Studies and remains active in community affairs. She is widely published, and her professional career has included working as a community health nurse, a program specialist with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), assistant professor at George Mason University, and executive director of the Montgomery Hospice Society. Ann has a Masters Degree from Catholic University of America and is a licensed clinical specialist.
Judith A. Grumbly (RN, MSN, ANP), Administrator and Geriatric Care Manager with Care Options is trained as an adult nurse practitioner with a specialty in gerontology. She has extensive experience working with the geriatric population in clinic, long-term care and home care settings. She is committed to the philosophy of "aging in place." Ms. Grumbly is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and volunteers with the Arlington Free Clinic. Ms. Grumbly graduated with her BSN from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and MSN and ANP from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
Shannon Campanelli (RN, MSN, FNP), Geriatric Care Manager and Nurse Practitioner, has extensive experience as a home health nurse working with the geriatric population. She also brings considerable expertise in working with the disabled population. Shannon was a Rehabilitation Nurse at both the Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center and the National Rehabilitation Hospital. She placed great importance on working with the entire family unit to ensure the best outcome for the patient. Through her church, Shannon volunteers as a certified Parish Nurse with a Ministry for Shut-in Parishioners. She facilitates a Prayer/Support group for people with chronic illnesses. Shannon received her B.S. in Nursing from the University of Florida and her Master's Degree in Community Health Nursing, with certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, from the University of Virginia.
Linda Kunkel (RN, MS), Director of Caregiving Services has 30 years of health care management experience in the Northern Virginia area. Her long-term care and hospice experience have made her a strong advocate for the elderly population and their families. Linda graduated with her RN from Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing in New Jersey. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland and a Master's Degree in Organizational Effectiveness from Marymount University in VA.
Janice Cooper-Levy (BA), Care Manager Associate with more than six years of experience working with elders. Her background includes her service as assistant activities director in several continuing care communities. Janice has also served as a volunteer chaplain at Alexandria Hospital. She recently completed the George Mason University Studies in Aging for Geronological Employees program (SAGE). Previously, Janice worked as a facilities manager for 15 years and in hotel and restaurant management. Her focus has always been on quality control and customer service. She is committeded to championing the needs of elders and ensuring they receive quality and compassionate service. Janice is pleased to serve as a surrogate family member liaison with other service providers and medical personnel to ensure that elders receive the quality care they deserve.
Jessica DiPillo (LSW), Geriatric Care Manager. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University and has worked with the geriatric population for seven years. Her experience spans skilled nursing facilities, home care consulting, Continuing Care Retirement Communities, state funded and private care management. Jessica has her license in social work in New Jersey and Virginia, along with a National Certification in Care Management.
Diana Gilbert (RN), Registered Nurse, graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She began her nursing career working in several area hospitals in northern Virginia. Diana gained experience on the medical/surgical, cardiac, ortho/neuro and oncology floors before branching out and becoming a home health nurse. She worked for the Visiting Nurse Assoc. of Northern Virginia and continued there after it merged with INOVA. Diana was instrumental in the start-up of Greenspring Home Health and was the first clinical manager for the agency. She brings her expertise of working with seniors in the home setting.
Paul Stolzenbach (B.A., MSW, ACSW, LCSW), Geriatric Care Manager, has over 35 years of experience in the field of social work including work in psychiatry, community mental health, nursing homes and health care. Paul’s last 20 years have been in acute care hospitals providing discharge planning and case management services to patients and families. Prior to joining Care Options in 2007, Paul served as the Director of Care Management at Rockingham Memorial Hospital and Winchester Medical Center. An active member of both the national and state chapters of the Society for Social Work Leadership in Health Care, Paul was selected as Administrator of the Year by the Virginia state chapter in 1999. He received a B.A. in Sociology from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. and a MSW from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a licensed clinical social worker in Virginia. Paul is a veteran of the U.S. Army, and served in Vietnam.
Deborah Alberth (RN), Registered Nurse Supervisor. She graduated from Daeman College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing. Deborah has 40 years experience in community health. Her positions have included public health nurse, school nurse, rehabilitation specialist and most recently, Director of Nursing in Home Care for the last 20 years. Deborah moved to the Northern Virginia area two years ago to be close to family. Although semi-retired, she retains an interest and commitment to facilitating the elderly to receive quality care in their home.
Lana B. Wingate (RN, MSN, BC), Senior Associate, has been with Care Options for fifteen years. With extensive experience in the field of gerontology, Lana's background includes teaching, lecturing on the national and regional level, and executive management in long-term care facilities. Her experience has led to successful care management of clients and satisfaction of families. She has been an advocate for gerontological nursing in organizations in the community and has been active on national and regional boards of the National Association of Professional Care Managers. She has also served on the local and state Board of Directors for the Virginia Nursing Association. Two years ago Lana moved to Williamsburg, Virginia, where she has opened a branch of Care Options and is available to provide services in all surrounding counties. Lana has a Masters Degree in Nursing from Mary Mount University.
